You'll also find tons of parks and forest preserves with gorgeous trails for hiking, biking, exploring, site seeing, etc. Patriots Park, Hummer Park and McCollum Park are all nearby, with basketball courts, batting cages, an outdoor gym, playground, tennis courts, and more! Easy commuter transportation via I-355 or I-55, or the Metra.
