A nice downtown area features the popular Tivoli Theatre which holds lots of town history as an old school, single-screen theatre in an auditorium built in 1928. With a friendly rivalry between the high schools, there is a divided “north” side and “south” side that creates an overall strong and close-knit community. You'll also find tons of parks and forest preserves with gorgeous trails for hiking, biking, exploring, site seeing, etc. Patriots Park, Hummer Park, and McCollum Park are all nearby, with basketball courts, batting cages, an outdoor gym, playground, tennis courts, and more! Easy commuter transportation via Metro, I-355, or I-55.
